A Dusty Pink Duster Coat Outfit

I’m back with some more photos from the USA! Last weekend, Christen and I attended his niece’s baby shower (she’s having a baby girl and pink was a theme of course), so I decided to wear my Allsaints Bexley Mac in Dusty Rose (you may remember it from this outfit in London) and I went for a fairly similar look to that, but much more dressed up.

Instead of sneakers and grey jeans, I paired my duster coat with a White T-Shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch, my American Eagle Washed Black Skinny Jeans, which I tucked into my Loeffler Randall Isla Black Suede Booties, and finished off with my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Grey and my Olivia Burton Burgundy Bee Watch. I am planning on doing a separate post on this watch, as it’s my absolute favourite at the moment, so stay tuned!

I really do love how this outfit turned out as it’s a great way to incorporate pink without making it too feminine and girly if you don’t want to. Grey and washed black are always one of the best complementing shades to go with pink as well, so you can’t really go wrong when it comes to a colour palette like this. It works every single time! I definitely recommend it if you’re wanting an easy, go to set of colours that always fit perfectly with each other.

I have to say that the Autumn leaves here are so gorgeous too! They make the most beautiful backdrop for photos, but I was a couple of weeks late in terms of seeing the trees in full orange bloom, as most of them have lost their leaves now, but there’s still some amazing burgundy, pink, yellow, orange, brown hues that are just so much more magical than what we see in the UK. I never knew Autumn could look this beautiful, seriously – isn’t it stunning? I’m also featuring Christen’s outfit below as well, as I think he looks fantastic, so there’s something for the guys here!

Now for Christen’s outfit above, his dress up look consisted of a Shein Orange Zebra Print Shirt, his Nudie Faded Black Skinny Jeans, some Saint Laurent Lukas Boots in Nut Suede, and of course he wouldn’t ever be without his men’s leather jacket. His is the Coach Leather Biker Jacket (the same one I have here) and it’s one of my favourite leather jackets that he owns! He finished his look off with his Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses and I think the entire outfit combination is pretty cool! The brown and orange tones work perfectly for the season. Guys, what do you think?

Here are a couple of photos that we had taken of us at the baby shower, however the lighting isn’t the best as I have a lot of shadow and light on my face, but it’s still a really nice photo. The one against the decor inside is really pretty too! It was set in this gorgeous woodland lodge in Bucyrus, Ohio, completely out the way and in the sticks, with such a beautiful surrounding. Let me know what you think of our outfits, and please do let me know if you like the inclusion of other people on my blog! Lorna xx.
