It’s that time of year again when Gifts & Decorative Accessories starts scouting for the best of the best in retail! The Retailer Excellence Awards has recognized excellence in the gift and home industry for more than 70 years. Though the event was held virtually the last two years, the award ceremony is returning to its traditional in-person presentation, and it’s earlier in the year than ever before. For the first time in its long history, the event will take place in June in Dallas, in conjunction with the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
Because of the earlier event date, it’s important to get your submissions in NOW for the Retailer Excellence Awards.
The REAs recognize outstanding achievement in seven retail categories:
- Social Media Outreach and Online Initiatives
- Store Design/Redesign
- Visual Merchandising
- Store Events
- Specialty Store
- Multiple Locations
- Socially Responsible
The deadline for submissions is April 8, so act soon! Nominees will be notified in early May and celebrated in an in-person award ceremony on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the Tower Club Dallas. Please plan to attend, should you win. Entering is easy:
- Simply click here for the submission form to get started.
- Make sure to TELL us about your successes on the form.
- Candidates MUST upload at least one high-res image of the nominated store, plus a 30-60 second video of the candidate introducing themselves and their store and explaining why they deserve to be nominated.
Retailers also have the chance to nominate their favorite manufacturer and sales representative for the Manufacturer of the Year and Sales Representative of the Year awards, which will be presented during the June ceremony. The nominees do not need to be from the same company. Voting is open to retailers only, and the candidates with the most retailer votes will win.
We can’t wait to applaud your successes in June, live and in person for the 71st Retailer Excellence Awards in Dallas!
