The Best Gifts For Tennis Players 2021 – 45 Gift Ideas For Men, Women, Kids and Coaches

Do you need to find a gift for a friend, partner, sibling or parent who loves tennis? Are you struggling with what to get them?

Then look no further; I’ve put together this guide with what I think are some of the best gifts for tennis fans that you can buy right now.

Whether it’s for Christmas, a birthday or a random present to say thank you, then you will find something suitable in this comprehensive list of tennis gifts.

I have broken down the gifts into easy to use sections, so whether you’re buying for a husband, wife, child, or tennis coach, then you can find a selection of the best tennis gifts for each category.

However, even though the gifts are categorised, there is some crossover.

For example, while a massage gun is an excellent gift for a female player, it’s just as good for a man and or tennis coach, so don’t skip a section just because you think it’s for ladies only; you might miss that perfect gift!

Finally, most of my gift suggestions are products that I’ve bought or used myself, so you can rest assured that all the products on this list are good quality and a good choice for a tennis fan/player.

Let’s take a look at my picks for the best gifts for tennis lovers in 2021.

What Is a Good Gift For a Tennis Player?

tennis gifts

As someone who’s bought tennis gifts for others and received them, my experience is that practical gifts perform better.

Does that mean a husband should buy his wife, a bulk pack of tennis balls from Costco?

Probably not, which is why I’ve got a specific list of tennis gifts for her below with some more creative suggestions, but when buying for guys, practical tennis gifts fare better.

I would recommend staying away from clothing and apparel, especially when a man buys for a woman because they go down like a lead balloon nine times out of ten.

I know a couple of sports store owners, and the number of exchanges they get on tennis clothing bought as a gift is through the roof post-Christmas.

So unless the person you’re buying for has specifically picked out an item, give clothing a miss. And if you really must, then please keep the receipt.

I’d also stay away from gimmicky ‘novelty’ type products, think stuff like tennis-themed cuff links, mugs, ties, jewellery with a racquet charm on it etc.

No doubt these things sell, but to me, they scream ‘tack’ and will end up never being used.

So we know what gifts to avoid, but which tennis gifts are good? Find out below.

Gifts for Tennis Players

tennis gifts best

The first set of gifts on my list are my top 5 gifts for 2021, irrespective of gender etc. these gifts work for basically anyone who likes tennis, and I’d be happy to receive any of them.

Hopefully, the person you’re buying for will be too!

Tennis Balls

tennis balls

Tennis balls might not have any wow factor when you tear open the wrapping paper. Still, when a player realises they haven’t had to buy a pack of tennis balls in the last six months, they’ll think to themselves, “damn, that was a good gift” and will no doubt be asking you to get them another set for their next Christmas or Birthday present.

You can buy balls in several quantities; Wilson US Open, for example, are sold in bulk with three balls per can, 24 cans in a case which will last most players several months.

Boring? Maybe, but if I got this as a gift, I’d be chuffed, and so would my wallet.

Resistance Bands Set

resistance band set

Improvements to a players game aren’t solely made on the tennis court, and your general fitness/strength is a great way to improve your match stamina, footwork and weight of shot.

Resistance bands are also a great way to warm up, and you’ll see virtually every pro player on the ATP and WTA tour using them before commencing practise or when they are warming up for a match.

The video below will give you some ideas of how the recipient of a set of resistance bands can make use of them:

Roger Federer: The Biography

roger federer biography gift

Books are always a solid gift choice, and there are plenty of well-written tennis books to choose from. My top pick for this year is Roger Federer: The Biography.

Written by Swiss journalist René Stauffer, who has been closely covering Roger Federer’s career for nearly 25 years, this biography paints how the 20 time Grand Slam Champion developed as a player.

Stauffer reveals some of the secrets behind Federer’s success, from growing up in Basel to the heights of his 20th Grand Slam victory plus all points in between.

While it will particularly appeal to Federer fans, anyone who likes tennis (except those with a Federer affliction) will find the book an exciting read.

Some Other Books to Consider

Here are some other books worth considering:

Axiom 9-Pack Tennis Bag

axiom 9 pack

The Axiom 9-Pack Tennis Bag from Geau Sport is a modern upright tennis backpack with many excellent features and is very well designed.

I put this tennis bag on the list and not some of the others I recommend because I think the design and colour will appeal to many players.

Some other bags on the market can be pretty colourful, almost tasteless, making it hard to know if the recipient will appreciate the colours, but this all-black design will be a winner for most.

It features a waterproof pocket for wet items, ample pockets, and a modular internal divider system.

It’s marketed as holding nine racquets, but that’s if you use the main compartment for racquets too.

Most players will use it to hold 2 or 4 racquets in each end compartment and then use the main compartment for shoes, towels, drinks etc.

You can check out the video below to get a better idea of how it looks.

Tennis Socks

tennis socks

Socks don’t sound like a very original gift, but a tennis player can never have enough of them. They get worn out quickly, and if you wear white socks on clay, they soon lose their whiteness and need replacing.

A good pair of tennis socks will be pretty thick, have some padding underfoot and hopefully do an ok job at wicking moisture away.

My favourite at the moment is Uniqlo as they’re a perfect thickness and offer a nice padded feel compared to Nike, which I find are good on the first wear, but after a few washing cycles, they lose that fresher feeling.

For American readers, I hear Thorlo tennis socks are the best on the market.

Gifts for Tennis Lovers (Non-Playing Fans)

gifts for tennis fans

Not everyone who loves tennis plays the sport; in fact, a big chunk of huge tennis fans have never picked up a racquet in their life, but they watch the game all year round, both live and on TV.

So whether the tennis lover you’re buying for has left their playing days behind them, or has always been an armchair fan, here are some tennis-related gifts suggestions.

Racquet Mag Subscription

racquet mag

The Racquet is a quarterly magazine that celebrates tennis’s art, ideas, style, and culture.

$80 gets you four collectable issues per year + special brand editions.

It won’t be everyone’s taste in terms of writing style, woke agenda and the artsy angle. Hence, one other option is a Tennis.com magazine, one of the longest-standing tennis magazines that cover more of the match play and equipment side of things.

Tennis TV Subscription

tennis tv

Tennis TV is the official live video streaming service of the ATP Tour, and a subscription will give a tennis fan access to live streaming from 63 ATP Tour tournaments.

They also have matches made available as replays, on-demand all year round.

Tennis TV can stream via Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Google Chromecast, Xbox One, Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Android TV and the PlayStation 5.

Make sure the person you are buying for doesn’t already have it! An alternative streaming provider is also Eurosport Player, they don’t have all the ATP tournaments like Tennis TV, but they do have Grand Slams, some ATP and several WTA tournaments.

Wimledon Centre Court Print

wimbledon centre court print

This Wimbledon centre court print is available in various sizes, including A1, A2, A3 and A4.

The framed versions come with a high-quality metal (aluminium) frame with a 9mm border and a 21mm deep frame.

You can also get canvases or standalone prints to be used in a frame of the recipients choosing.

Roland Garros Deck Chair

roland garros deck chair

The “Porte d’Auteuil” deckchair made by Hesperide features the white Roland-Garros logo. It is equipped with a head cushion and a backrest that reclines in 4 positions for lazing around in the garden during summer.

It is also epoxy treated, meaning the chair’s structure is resistant to rust and light rain.

Wimbledon Canvas Backpack

wimbledon canvas rucksack

The Wimbledon canvas rucksack has a leather base, leather Wimbledon front patch, and a small outer front zip pocket.

It’s ideal for fans who visit live tournaments and need a small backpack to carry their suncream, water bottle, jacket etc.

Tennis Gifts For Him

tennis gifts for him

The gifts for him section are my suggestion for more male-orientated tennis gifts.

Slinger Bag

slinger bag

The Slinger Bag is a tennis bag that incorporates a ball machine. It’s more ball machine first, bag second but will carry your racquets, shoes, accessories and of course over one hundred tennis balls.

In terms of design, it’s a bit like a carry on suitcase with an extension handle, but it has a fully functioning ball machine that can fire down balls at up to 45 miles per hour.

While expensive, it’s still one of the best bang for your buck ball machines out there and allows you to do several drills.

For an advanced player, they will probably be disappointed that you can’t set the ball to use slice or underspin, only topspin. But for those days when you can’t find a hitting partner or want to work on a specific shot repeatedly, the Slinger Bag fits the bill.

You can see how you can use the bag below:

Mi Band 6

mi band 6

The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is a hugely popular fitness band primarily due to how affordable it is.

Although don’t be fooled by the low price tag, this band is well made and tracks all sorts of metrics putting it on a par with similar wearables that are way more expensive.

I use the Mi Band 5, which is the previous version, and it’s great for giving you an idea of how much of a workout you’ve done.

The only real drawback is that there’s no specific ‘tennis’ workout mode, so you have to use ‘Freestyle’, but the Mi Band 6 is a significant bit of kit for tracking, calories burnt, steps taken, and heart rate.

Lightweight Phone Tripod + Swing Vision App

phone tripod

One of the best ways to improve your game is to take a video recording of your matches or practices to watch back.

Video footage lets you see what you are doing well and what you need to improve on. You can then formulate a plan to work on it the next time you step on the court.

Your coach can also use footage, or you can send it to online coaches who require the footage to critique your game.

While filming from the floor is ok, a tripod allows you to get a more stable video from a better viewing angle.

You could also combine this gift with something called the Swing Vision app that tracks all your shots. See the example below. It’s a clever bit of tech:

swing vision

For this app, you need to be an iPhone user. No Android version is out yet, but I’m looking forward to when it’s available, as this is fantastic.

Accessories Pack

wilson overgrips

This gift requires a little more work as it involves combining several low-cost accessories to produce a tennis goody bag of sorts.

I recommend the following to bundle together:

This combination gives a tennis player every sort of accessory they can think of, and potentially some new ones to try out, such as lead tape to alter their racquet’s weight, balance, and swing weight.

MiStringer Stringing Machine

Mi Stringer Review

Anyone serious about tennis should consider learning to string their racquets, and the MiStringer is the ideal stringing machine to get started with it.

It’s the smallest, most portable stringing machine on the market, but more importantly, it does an outstanding stringing job with accurate tension and has a safe mounting system to protect the frame.

The MiStringer team also have a complete set of video guides on using the machine, allowing a complete novice to get to grips with the process quickly.

Tennis Gifts For Her

tennis gifts for her

As a guy, I’d be more than happy with a brand new 24 Can Case of Dunlop ATP Tennis Balls, but is it a good gift for the woman in your life? I’d think a little more out of the box. Here are my suggestions for some awesome tennis gifts for her.

Bob and Brad Massage Gun

bob and brad massage gun

If you watch any professional sport, you’ve probably seen athletes using these massage guns and promoting them on social media.

My favourite is the Bob and Brad X6 Pro massage gun. It packs a high torque professional-grade motor that can run up to 3200 rpm, with a vibration amplitude of 10 mm.

It also has a decent 2500 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can run for over 3 hours and needs only 3.5 hours for a full charge.

There are plenty of other massage gun options out there, but this one has a much better build quality than some of the cheaper Chinese equivalents on Amazon, and based on the ones I’ve tested (I own the smaller, more portable Bob and Brad C2 massage gun), these are the best ones out there.

This gift should go down pretty well, especially once the person you’ve bought it for has tried it as they do feel good.

So for any woman who spends a few hours a week on the court, the Bob and Brad massage gun will help them recover and make them feel brand new. You can also use it on each other for those hard to reach places, win-win.

Wilson Women’s Tote Bag

wilson womens tote bag

I recommended keeping away from clothing and apparel for a women’s gift, but this Wilson Tote is one you can’t go wrong with.

It’s a straightforward design, and unless the person receiving it has a hatred of the colour black, it will be well received.

It is practical without losing any style points, and it has a large zipped main compartment that zips close for all your gear and a designated spot for carrying two racquets.

There is also a padded divider to separate your racquets from your other equipment, so the Wilson Tote is ideal for those who might play tennis immediately after work.

Hydro Flask Water Bottle

pink hydro flask

Hydration is vital for any sport, especially tennis, so a decent drinks bottle for your tennis bag is an essential item.

I prefer flask-type bottles that you can refill as they keep the water cooler and don’t get squashed in your bag.

This particular flask is BPA-free, phthalate-free, and stainless steel with a pleasant feeling powder-coated finish.

There are also several colours and sizes available, 500ml is probably the most common, but for someone playing matches, the 700ml is a good choice.

Court Towel + Sweat Bands

babolat towel

Another essential bit of gear for all tennis players is a court towel and some sweatbands. Perhaps even a cooling towel if you play in a humid climate.

The best tennis towels come with a Terrycloth for absorbency, and I’d recommend getting a more oversized size towel as they’re a bit more practical. Microfibre is also an option, but I prefer the cotton ones.

I like the Babolat towels as they wash pretty nicely and are soft. For sweatbands, I recommend Nike or Uniqlo.

Tecnifibre T-Rebound 298 IGA Tennis Racquet

tecnifibre t rebound 298 iga tennis racquet

The Tecnifibre T-Rebound 298 is the racquet used by Iga Swiatek and created for her after she won the 2020 French Open and consequently signed with the French racquet company.

I was hesitant to include a racquet on a list of tennis gifts as it’s quite a personal choice, but this is one of my favourite women’s racquets on the market right now.

It’s fast through the air, has tremendous power due to the stiffness and is just a sweet playing racquet. It’s also a real winner cosmetically and looks great on the court with that touch of turquoise on the hoop.

Some caveats, however, this is a racquet for intermediate to advanced players.

It will be around 320g when strung and has a high stiffness rating, requiring a certain level of technique and fitness to use effectively.

As a result, the T-Rebound 298 Iga is not your senior ladies doubles racquet, but for younger players who play regularly, former college players etc., this is a great racquet.

Tennis Gifts For Kids

tennis gifts for kids

When it comes to buying stuff for tennis lovers, kids are the easiest as several cool bits of equipment and training aids are out there.

Here are my top 5 suggestions.

TopspinPro Tennis Training Aid

topspin pro

Have you ever wondered how the pros can seemingly hit the ball as hard as they want but still keep it within the lines?

The answer is topspin, and it’s one of the critical features of the modern game.

It’s something that all kids starting in tennis need to learn, and the TopsinPro is the perfect training aid to do it.

I backed the TopspinPro on Kickstarter around seven years ago, and it’s now matured into a hugely popular product used by coaches globally.

It’s a simple concept that works by guiding the racquet through the correct swing path for generating topspin by brushing up the back of the tennis ball.

That helps your child develop the exact bio-mechanics of modern topspin groundstrokes, which should lead to more enjoyment of the game and for them to reach a higher standard.

The Topspinpro is adjustable in height and can be used in all settings – on a tennis court, in the back garden, on a driveway or even indoors when the weather isn’t playing ball for outdoor sports.

Touch Tennis Home Kit

touch tennis homekit

Touchtennis is a modified version of tennis played on a compact court with foam balls and shorter racquets.

The game will help develop a player’s movement, touch, court IQ, and fitness for playing on full-size tennis courts.

More importantly, TouchTennis is tremendous fun and can be set up on a driveway, in the back garden, or a public play area.

touch tennis court

Included in this kit you get everything you need to start playing:

  • 4 Official touchtennis Balls
  • 2 Official touchtennis Racquets by the GOAT Sports brand
  • 1 x 6 metre official touchtennis net
  • 2 blocks of thick chalk for marking on driveways or lawns

MSV Pointer Junior Training Tennis Racquet

msv pointer

Nope, it’s not a wooden spoon; it’s a bit of kit called the Tennis Pointer.

The tennis pointer is a training aid used by many coaches and tennis academies to improve hand-eye coordination.

Because of the small surface, once you learn to hit consistently, finding the sweet spot on a proper racquet becomes second nature, meaning more precision and cleaner shots.

At first, the Tennis Pointer is tricky to play with, meaning kids and parents who want to give it a go will love the challenge.

Head Coaching Starter Pack

head coaching starter pack

The Head coaching starter pack is a great gift to be used by a parent and their child when practising.

I would recommend hopping onto Youtube to copy some of the drills that the coaches recommend, but a guide is also included in the kit to ensure that the items in the bag are put to the best use.

The kit includes:

  • 6 big cones
  • 12 poles with 8 clips
  • 12 court lines
  • 4 court edges
  • 6 targets
  • 1 small bag for transportation

Babolat Junior Backpack

babolat junior backpack

This Babolat Junior backpack is just the right size for the up and coming junior player.

It’s compact but will still hold the essentials for the court. It also had a padded racket compartment that would hold two junior rackets while the main compartment would hold gear.

There is also an accessory pocket in front to keep snacks, sunscreen and other essentials. It looks cool too.

Gifts For Tennis Coaches

tennis coach gifts

Buying gifts for a tennis coach is a tricky endeavour. If you want to buy them something tennis related, I’ve selected the five gifts below that are all purely related to their occupation.

I figured there are enough generic gift help lists out there, so the tennis gifts below are either items a coach can use when coaching, or they can use after a hard day of work trying to teach their new protege how to hit a kick serve.

Gamma Ballhopper EZ Travel Cart

gamma ballhopper ez travel cart

The Gamma Ballhopper EZ Travel Cart is the perfect gift for tennis coaches who travel from court to court.

The collapsable design means this cart folds down into a much more convenient size that will fit into the boot of any car. It also comes with a carry case.

When opened, the Gamma Ballhopper holds up to 150 tennis balls, allowing coaches to feed ample balls to their students before it’s time to pick them up.

Foam Roller and Massage Stick

foam roller

A full-time tennis coach can spend up to 10 hours a day on the courts, which is hard on the legs. They’re also constantly feeding balls which fatigues the arm.

This foam roller and massage stick are great ways to reduce tissue tension, ease muscle soreness, improve flexibility or range of motion and reduce post-workout fatigue.

I would also recommend the massage gun I put in the ‘gifts for her’ list further up the page.

Tennis Target

tennis target

This set of two tennis targets attach to the net with velcro and allow the coach to set up targets for players to hit through from the baseline or with volleys.

Not only is this a fun drill for players to take part in, but it’s also going to improve groundstroke accuracy, and whenever you are only thinking about the target itself, you tend to forget about the net.

So these tennis net targets are a must-have for a tennis coaches repertoire and will go down well with their pupils, be it group lessons or a one vs one target competition.

HOKA One One Recovery Sandals

hoka sandals

HOKA are best known for their road and trail running shoes, but they also produce a comfy pair of sandals that they market as recovery sandals.

Tennis coaches are spending several hours a day on your feet, often encased in thick, durable tennis shoes, so, after a day on the courts, these HOKA sandals are ultra comfy, breathable and offer plenty of support.

Tennis Radar Gun

tennis radar gun

What makes serving practice instantly more fun? A speed gun.

Gone are the days that this technology was only accessible to the pros, and the Pocket Radar is a neat little device that lets you measure the speed of serves and groundstrokes.

You can then link the device to the Pocket Radar Free Companion, which is audible speed announcements and lets you analyse that footage which is ideal for coaches looking to improve their player’s technique

You can see how the Pocket Radar works and how a coach can use this below:

Gifts for Big Tennis Nerds

tennis enthusiast gifts

How about gifts for tennis lovers who have got into the technicalities of the sport?

While some people love playing and never even think about their equipment, there’s a special breed of players who tinker with their tennis equipment non-stop.

Tennis nerds are typically male and want to learn about its physics, test different strings constantly, add lead tape to their frame, etc.

This category of tennis fan is quite tricky to buy for, as chances are they’ve already got most things out there, but my advice is to think practical gifts.

Stringing tools, tech, measuring devices, strings and accessories will be good ideas, so here are some suggestions.

If you have any questions about the products or are unsure if they are suitable, please leave a comment, and I will get back to you.

Dunlop ACC Balance Board

dunlop balance board

As far as niche gifts go, then a balance board is right up there. Most people won’t know what this is for, but any tennis racquet enthusiast will instantly recognise it.

The balance board allows you to find the balance point of your racquet, which lets you know where the majority of the weight is distributed.

You can then use it to customise your racquet and make sure that they have the same specs if you have two of them.

Place the racquet over the beam and twist the knob on the side until your racquet is balanced perfectly over the board, then take the reading to calculate whether it’s head heavy or head light.

I have one of these, and while obviously, I don’t use it every day, it’s beneficial when I review tennis racquets, customise my own or a friend wants to check the specs of their frame.

Parnell Block and Parnell Pad Combo

parnell block and pad

Two bits of leather doesn’t sound like much of a gift, but for a racquet stringer, then the Parnell Block and Parnell Pad will quickly become two invaluable pieces of their tool kit.

If they do string their racquets, they’ll use the Parnell pad and block to protect the string and the racquet from damage when stringing, especially when using the Yuzuki starting method.

If they’re a complete novice stringer, they likely won’t know much about the Parnell Pad or how it’s used. Still, once they delve down the rabbit hole, they will find a whole new world of learning material for new ideas, stringing techniques and tie off knots to become a better, more reliable stringer.

Do note; you should only buy this as a gift if you know that the person you’re buying for strings their racquets.

Babolat Stringing Tool Kit

babolat stringing tool kit

A racquet stringer is only as good as the tools they have at their disposal, and this Babolat Stringing Tool Kit is the best of the best.

It features the following items:

  • Repair Pliers
  • Starting Clamp
  • Scissors
  • Cutting Pliers
  • Pliers
  • Setting Off Awl
  • Tennis Awl
  • Cleaning Brush

The Babolat Toolkit is all the equipment you need to make stringing a racquet a more seamless process.

The Babolat Starting Clamp is often described as the best starting clamp out there and is a must-have for stringing seriously to maintain accurate tension. So if you don’t want to shell out for the whole tool kit, the Starting Clamp alone is handy.

ERT Tennis Computer

ert 300

One of the critical aspects of how a racquet plays is what tension the strings are.

Most players have a tension they like best, but strings do not keep that tension indefinitely. They begin to lose tension immediately and, after a few hitting sessions, will have dropped considerably.

This ERT 300 allows you to measure the stringbed stiffness on your racquet, so you can determine if a freshly strung racquet will be to your liking, and you can measure at regular intervals to reliably determine when your racquet needs to be restrung.

This will help keep your level high and help prevent arm and elbow complaints due to polyester strings when they go dead.

There are also several other string tension measurement tools, including the MSV Mini STT Electronic Tension Measuring Device and the Tourna Stringmeter.

Angell Tennis Halo Strings Pack

halo string

Angell is a custom tennis racquet producer based in the UK, offering custom-matched frames which are very popular with higher level players.

Alongside their racquets, they sell a range of tennis strings, and they offer a very cool sample pack where you can get their entire string range in one bundle.

For a tennis nerd, this sample pack is a great little gift. It allows you to try several types of their Halo string and see which you like best, whether it’s a stiff polyester for the hard hitter or a softer arm friendlier string.

Top 5 Tennis Gifts Under $10

tennis gifts under 5 dollars

Are you looking for a tennis gift that comes in around the $10 / £10 mark? Here are my top five picks.

Reaction Ball

reaction ball

The Reaction Ball is a great little toy for you to work on your reflexes and coordination.

It’s ideal for warming up before a tennis match as the unpredictable bounces keep you on your toes and get the blood flowing. I wouldn’t recommend using it indoors, though, as that coffee table vase won’t be upright for long.

Wimbledon Tote Bag

wimbledon tote

The Wimbledon tote is a 12oz cotton canvas shopper bag that has the Championships logo.

It’s perfect for everyday shopping, carrying extra clothing to the court or using on summer trips to the beach.

Dimensions are 42cm x 38cm, and it’s available in a range of different colours.

Wilson Triniti Tennis Balls

triniti balls

The Wilson Triniti ball is designed with fully recyclable packaging and comes in a unique octagonal paper container.

The Triniti is not a pressurised ball, but the balls do play like a pressurised balls thanks to the plastomer material.

I included Triniti on my list of the best tennis balls, and it’s an excellent little gift. They also last for ages too.

Yonex Super Grap Overgrip

yonex supergrap

The Yonex Super Grap is the best overgrip I’ve played with and combines excellent tack, absorbency and solid durability.

This is ideal as a stocking filler, and it comes in several colour options.

Wilson Pro Feel Dampener

wilson pro feel dampener

The Wilson Pro Feel dampeners reduce vibration and remove the ping sound when you contact the ball. Do they help your arm? Maybe ever so slightly but unlikely.

Regardless, most players like the deadened sound and the Wilson dampener looks slick on a Wilson racquet.

My tip is to find out what brand racquet your gift recipient uses and buy the matching dampener. E.g. if they use a Head racquet, get a Head Zverev dampener.

Top 5 Tennis Gifts Under $25

federer sweatband

My top five gifts in this list all come in under $25 / £20.

Nike Premier Doublewide Wristband

nike wristbands

My favourite wristbands for absorbency are the Nike doublewide wristbands. One pack includes two 5 inch terry loop wristbands.

They are perfect for keeping sweat off your hands and for wiping it off your brow when you can’t get to a towel between points.

Wilson Pro Overgrip 12 Grip

wilson pro overgrip

The Wilson Pro Overgrip, as used by Roger Federer, is a high-performance overgrip that has a nice thin, high-stretch felt for a great tacky feel.

I like the Wilson overgrip a lot, but I would recommend finding out your recipient’s favourite overgrip (check their racquet if you can) and buying that instead.

Or if they don’t use one currently, buy the brand that matches the racquet, e.g. if they use a Babolat Pure Aero, buy a pack of Babolat VS Original overgrips.

Dunlop Modern Racquet Case

dunlop modern racquet case

The Dunlop racquet sack is ideal for storing older racquets or for use if you don’t have enough room in your match bag for all of your racquets on match day.

This bag can fit up to two racquets with a draw-string top and has a front zipper pocket for smaller items.

Babolat ElastoCross 2 String Savers

string savers

As used by Roger Federer, string savers prolong string life, reduce friction and help increase the performance of the stringbed.

I would only get a pack of these as a gift if you know the recipient uses natural gut strings or a very soft multifilament that frays quickly.

Tecnifibre Triax String

triax string

My favourite string of 2021 is Tecnifibre Triax, and I feel like it’s one of those strings that absolutely everybody should try.

Whether a polyester user or someone who uses natural gut, this string offers something for everybody.

Triax integrates firm polyester filaments with softer polyamide filaments that produce a soft string that still imparts topspin. Simply an incredible string.

Got any questions about any of the tennis gifts I have recommended in this post? Do you have some suggestions for gifts I may have missed? Let me know in the comments.
